Political ScienceDaniel Deudney is Associate Professor of Political Science at Johns Hopkins University. He has also served as a Legislative Director in the U.S. Senate and a senior researcher at the Worldwatch Institute. His most recent book is Bounding Power: Republican Security Theory from the Polis to the Global Village. The book received the 2008 Robert Jervis and Paul Schroeder Award for the Best Book on International History and Politics, and received the Book of the Decade Award from the International Studies Association. Professor Deudney specializes in international relations theory, political theory and international relations, and contemporary global issues (nuclear, environment, space and energy).
