International relations and Political ScienceStefan A. Schirm is Professor of Political Science at the Ruhr University of Bochum, where he holds the Chair of International Politics. Previously he taught at the Universities of Munich and Stuttgart, was a Research Associate at the Stiftung Wissenschaft und Politik, and served as J. F. Kennedy Memorial Fellow at the Center for European Studies, Harvard University. His publications include Globalization and the New Regionalism (Polity Press 2002), New Rules for Global Markets (ed., Palgrave 2004), Globalization.
